ICSCRM 2024: International Conference on Silicon Carbide and Related Materials

Sep 29 - Oct 04, 2024

What is ICSCRM 2024?

ICSCRM 2024 is a trade show that focuses on the latest advancements in silicon carbide (SiC) and related materials. It gathers scientists, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world to share research findings, discuss technological developments, and explore new applications. The ICSCRM conference is a critical platform for those working in industries such as semiconductors, power electronics, and renewable energy, where silicon carbide plays a pivotal role in enhancing efficiency and performance.

Attendees can expect in-depth technical sessions, keynote presentations, and panel discussions covering a wide range of topics related to SiC materials and devices. Additionally, ICSCRM 2024 offers the opportunity to meet Hyperion Materials and Technologies on site to develop new opportunities for networking, collaboration, and partnership, making it a must-attend event for anyone involved in the development and implementation of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.

Whether you are a researcher, an industry expert, or a business leader, ICSCRM 2024 provides a unique environment to stay at the forefront of silicon carbide innovations and their potential to revolutionize the global electronics and energy industries.

What will you find at our booth at ICSCRM 2024?

Hyperion Materials & Technologies awaits you at booth 73where you will find a display illustrating how diamond is utilized throughout the SiC manufacturing process, the poster on our new Hyperion slurries for achieving exceptional polishing of SiC wafers, as well as members of our team to talk to you about how our comprehensive diamond superabrasives portfolio can help solve your wafer production challenging, including our:

Hyperion Powder & Slurry

Hyperion™ Diamond Slurry is a proprietary slurry formulation that utilizes our patented Hyperion™ synthetic diamond crystals to improve lapping and polishing performance in precision applications such as semiconductor and sapphire processing, metallography, and fine finishing. Hyperion Materials & Technologies modifies the diamond crystal surface to produce multiple fine cutting points for reducing surface roughness while retaining a high material removal rate when lapping and polishing semiconductor wafers.

GMM Diamond

Hyperion's GMM diamond micron powder is an excellent general-purpose product designed to provide acceptable surface finish and material removal results in general applications with less stringent performance requirements. GMM is widely used in wire-sawing applications for wafer slicing.

Innovative Submicron Solutions

Hyperion's new range of submicron diamond abrasives and slurries delivers exceptionally low surface roughness. Used after lapping or fine-grinding SiC wafers to reduce the duration and cost of CMP, Hyperion's submicron solutions are much more environmentally friendly. Reduce surface roughness to 2-3 angstroms with Hyperion's submicron solutions, and then utilize only a short final step in the conventional CMP process.
