Hyperion Materials & Technologies completes acquisition of Sinter Sud
WORTHINGTON, Ohio — Hyperion Materials & Technologies is excited to announce the completion of its acquisition of Sinter Sud S.p.A., an Italy-based cemented carbide manufacturer. As part of the Hyperion family of companies, Sinter Sud expands the organization’s complete portfolio of carbide products, including carbide rod blanks for toolmakers who develop tools for drilling and end milling applications.
In addition to supporting Hyperion’s goal of becoming the top independent global producer of carbide rods, Sinter Sud brings to the organization a talented and efficient workforce, advanced technical capabilities, and proven research and development expertise.
