Hyperion Materials & Technologies exhibited its long-running expertise in creating innovative manufacturing solutions for the hygiene industry during the 26th China International Disposable Paper Expo (CIDPEX) April 17 to 19 in Wuhan.

Hyperion serves many markets, and the company showcased its industry-leading hard and super-hard materials technology in rotary cutting applications for baby care, feminine care and adult care disposable hygiene products.

CIDPEX Hyperion’s rotary cutting solutions, which include the highest-quality materials and expert engineering, increase efficiency and reduce waste.

“We partner with our clients to create tailor-made solutions,” said Stephanie Baty, Hyperion’s Segment Manager for rotary cutters. “By analyzing the entire process around the cutting unit and evaluating the customer requirements, we provide effective recommendations to improve overall productivity and minimize down time.”

CIDPEX, organized by the China National Household Paper Industry Association, is the largest exhibition for tissue paper and disposable hygiene products industry in the world. The show attracts all those involved with the supply chain of tissue paper, disposable hygiene products, materials and machinery. About 800 exhibitors and more than 30,000 visitors learned about new materials, equipment and technology at this year’s show, which was held in the Wuhan International Expo Center.

“We have participated in the show for many years, but this was the first time we exhibited as Hyperion,” said Kai Cremer, Sales Manager. “CIDPEX is an important platform for networking with corporate groups, meeting with decision makers and showing our strong support to the market, which has promising, long-term growth potential.”

Hyperion, which has more than 60 years of unparalleled knowledge in hard and super-hard materials, is approaching its first anniversary as a standalone company. In July 2018, global investment firm KKR acquired Hyperion from Sandvik.
