Hyperion Materials & Technologies manufactures resin bonded micron synthetic diamond powder in three grades (economy, standard, and premium), each of which is created for specific applications and conditions.
Our premium RVM™ diamond is used for grinding of glass, tungsten carbide, and ceramics and package singulation, among other uses. Our diamond powder is crafted for optimal grinding and polishing. Coatings are also available to enhance performance in the most intense conditions.
RVM Diamond
Hyperion's RVM™ diamond powder is derived from synthesized diamond, which is grown under conditions that create thousands of tightly bonded crystals within each diamond grain, also known as "multicrystallinity". These crystals are designed to microchip and present new, sharp edges in abrasive applications. RVM diamond powder shows excellent results in glass, tungsten carbide, and ceramic grinding. Available with 56% or 30% Ni coating or Ti coating.
