Our standard RJK-1 diamond is used for grinding of glass and lapping of crystal and polycrystalline diamond (PCD), among other uses. Our diamond powder is crafted for optimal grinding and polishing. Coatings are also available to enhance performance in the most intense conditions.
RJK-1 Diamond
Hyperion's RJK-1 diamond powder is a multi-crystal and provides more friability than a monocrystal. This product is used in slurries and suspensions for lapping and polishing. RJK-1 diamond powder is designed for applications in resin bonded wheels, where a soft polishing and lapping action is required. It is highly recommended for crystal lapping and PCD and glass grinding. Available with 56% or 30% Ni coating.
